Dr. Messinger and her team over at Cosmetic & Family Dentistry are the best of the best!! It’s weird to refer to them only as my “dentist office” because they have become my friends! From the moment I walked in and was greeted by, Alyssa and her big smile, I instantly felt a wave of relief wash over me! We all know going to the dentist is not fun, and if you’re there it’s usually because something is wrong. Dr. Messinger made me feel so comfortable which I believe is the hardest thing to do at the dentist. She and her team are very thorough, they explain every single thing that they are going to do to you, why they are doing it, and when they are doing it, they talk you through what’s happening. Not only is the team the best team I have ever been worked on by (I lived in 3 states so you can only imagine how many dentists I have encountered) but their professionalism and the knowledge they are able to share with me on every visit goes beyond any dentist I’ve ever gone to. I have never liked going to the dentist but when I’m going to see Dr. Messinger, I actually look forward to it! If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further because you are doing yourself a disservice if you go to anyone else in town!! I recommend her and her team to my family and friends and now to you all!!!
Dr Rachel Messinger and her staff are professional and gave me a lot of confidence as a terrified skeptical patient towards dentistry. She crafted a nightguard for my TMJ and teeth clenching that actually gave me relief! I had been to a handful of dentists over the past seven years in Stamford and she is the only one that actually helped me and created something that gave me relief. It’s been seriously 14 years since I have had a dentist that I love and trust. Thank you Rachel??
I've been going to Dr. Orlow for over 30 years. I have to admit I was so worried when he announced he was retiring. But he has left us in great hands! Dr. Messinger is very friendly, she listens to her patience and I feel so comfortable going to an appointment. I'm so grateful that I can continue to go to the same practice and know i'm getting the same level of service and care for my pearly whites :)

She has great clinical skills, a calming demeanor, and truly wants to make certain that your dental issues are properly addressed. The office has a superior and caring support team from the front desk to hygienists. I have had other dentists make crowns, and she is among the few who really want a perfect look as well as a perfect fit and will take the time to assess your personal needs. I highly recommend Dr. Rachel Messinger.

Best Dentist I have ever been to! After avoiding dentists for a few years due to bad experiences Dr. Messinger restored my faith and proved that quality and pain-free dental care is possible. Highly recommended.
